Activities
Guests at Greenland Cove Cabins can enjoy many activities right here at our complex. Bring your boat (or rent one of ours),
go out onto East Grand Lake to fish for landlock salmon, togue and small mouth bass or just go for a cruise and explore the many coves
on the international waters of the lake. Hike the trails in our area or use our complimentary kayaks and canoe out on the lake or
swim from our sandy beach. If it is relaxation you are looking for, each cabin has a deck or screened in porch to sit on or relax
on the beach and bask in the early morning sun right through the last rays of the day.
Scenic Drives & Sights
Year
around photography allow you to see the area up close. Be prepared for wildlife encounters such as moose and eagles. Take a
ride up the scenic byway on route 1 and stop at the Million Dollar View scenic turnout. For those that are a little more adventurous,
drive or hike up to the fire tower on Peek-a-boo mountain and see the spectacular 360* views of the many lakes in our area and Mt.
Katahdin. Take a drive over to Canada or a canoe trip down the St. Croix River.
Winter Recreation
When winter approaches,
activities still abound. Ice fishing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and snowmobiling are just a few of the pursuits awaiting
you right out your door at Greenland Cove Cabins. Or you can gather your gear and head out to Big Rock Mountain in Mars Hill for a
day of downhill skiing or snowboarding.
